9th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament a Success!

Our profuse thanks go to all those who put their energy, attention, and time into planning and organizing MHAGC's 9th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament, held Thursday, October 26, 2023, at The Preserve at Verdae. Our generous sponsors as well as our teams and volunteers made the event not only a successful fundraiser but a passionate show of community support for MHAGC's many programs and services, including the Upstate-based 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Take a look below at photos from the day and read the letter of thanks from MHAGC's Board President.

A Show of Personal and Community Strength

MHAGC is privileged to have been selected as the recipient of proceeds from Strengthtoberfest 2023, a powerlifting event hosted and sponsored by Carolina Barbell Club and Brit’s Brothers Gym. On October 28, 2023, powerlifters gathered to show both personal strength and to remind us all that strength lies in connection and community. We celebrate these kinds of valuable community connections where organizers show their heart for service and mental health supports. THANK YOU!

Support Our 988 Call Center Workers

MHAGC's 988 Crisis & Suicide Lifeline call center volunteers and staff perform a very specialized job. Due to the nature of this work, they each receive over 80 hours of intensive training and commit their time to staff the Lifeline around the clock every day of the year. Their gift of time and life-saving training is precious. Help us make our training as cost-efficient as possible and their time on the Lifeline a little easier by helping us provide supplies and tokens of appreciation for the special contribution they are making to our community and state.
