RFDASH: Residents and Fellows Day at the State House
Our residents lead and organize the annual Massachusetts Residents and Fellows Day at the State House (RFDASH) which is supported by the Mass Chapter of the AAP. This annual event brings together pediatric trainees across the state to advocate for the children we care for. During this yearly event, trainees pick 2-3 state bills and meet with legislators to advocate for their passage.
Previous bills advocated for include "An Act Regulating Flavored Tobacco", "An Act to Ensure Equitable Health Coverage for Children", and "An Act Relative to Mental Health Parity Implementation".
Check out more about RFDASH here
