Project title: Transformational Learning Network for Resilience - Enabling Ukrainian higher education to ensure a sustainable and robust reconstruction of (post-war) Ukraine
Project acronym: TransLearnN
The "Transformational Learning Network" (TLN) project aims to achieve four strategic objectives:
Strengthening the social and political leadership role of universities in the context of sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine. Ukrainian universities should become powerful drivers of change that promote sustainable practices in recovery and transformation processes.
Creating an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary educational network to develop and test innovative approaches to sustainability in both teaching and applied research, contributing to increased (post-war) resilience.
Supporting Ukrainian universities on their path to sustainable university management, helping them implement sustainability principles in their management practices and institutional processes.
Empowering students to become agents of change for sustainable and risk-oriented development, providing them with skills and knowledge for active participation in transformation processes.

As part of the project, students majoring in International Economic Relations took part in the TransLearnN summer school of the C2 course Sustainable Business Models (SBMod). The event was aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and tools to address environmental, social and governance (ESG) challenges by integrating sustainability principles into core business strategies through the application of key frameworks and practical approaches to develop responsible and profitable business models. The project, and thus the summer school, is co-funded by the EU under the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships program.
The course was developed jointly by teams of partner universities of the international consortium TransLearnN. The event was organized by the Ignacy Łukasiewicz University of Technology in Rzeszów under the leadership of project supervisor Mirosław Siemieszek.
