We have a four times a year on-going maintenance contract - not tied to emergency calls.
1. Before calling TK, check each floor - Roof to P2 - to make sure nothing is blocking any elevator door!
2. Call TK to report outage. Give them YOUR cellphone number so responding service tech can call you about arrival time and perhaps ask operations questions. Meet service tech at front door or garage door and show them where to park (P2 - close to elevator room).
3. Email all residents and board members about situation. Also contact all handicapped residents - yes knock on doors.
4. Elevator Outage posters are located in Lobby Closet. Tape posters to each elevator floor button from Roof to P2.
5. Open elevator room door for service tech and be available if needed.
5. Remove all posters and email residents and board members when elevator is operating.
