The premise of this activity is a game in which there is a runner who is trying to get to one of the set end locations. The taggers try to catch up to the runner and tag them to switch up who plays the runner role. There are a couple end locations to choose from. Earn coins to be able to travel by completing challenges.
Recommended Number of Players - 3-4 players (1 runner, the rest are taggers)
Recommended Playtime - 4-5 Hours
General
1)The starting location for this game is Metro Center Station (escalator entrance under canopy/just north of G street on 12th street).
2) The chasers are able to see the location of the runner throughout the game.
3) The Runner must pay for their travel with game coins. You earn coins by completing randomly selected challenges.
4) Runners start the game with 750 coins and get 250 each time they resume play after being tagged. You do not lose points if you are tagged.
5) Travel is purchased by the minute from the Travel Shop. The estimated trip length/travel duration (in minutes) from google maps is where you find the amount of minutes you need to buy. You may not refund any travel purchase and must make your purchase before you start your travel.
6)You may use any mode of transportation except cars owned by players or players' friends.
7) While you are a chaser, you have an unlimited budget, but you must go for the runner wherever they are instead of leapfrogging them and waiting for them to arrive somewhere.
Player Roles
1)There is one runner who is trying to get to an end location. The rest of the players are chasers.
1a) Remember, runners must go for the runner wherever they are instead of leapfrogging them and waiting for them to arrive somewhere.
Tagging
1) While playing the game, you must attempt to tag the runner. You tag a runner by taking a picture of them. They must be clearly visible in the photo. If you tag someone, send it to them or post it in a premade group chat.
2) The taggers may not travel or tag anyone during the first 15 minutes of the game or the first 15 minutes after someone who was tagged resumes play following their penalty period.
3) If you are tagged, the next person in the rotation becomes the runner. The new runner has a 15 minute grace period.
3a) Remember to stop sharing location, and get the new runner to share theirs.
Challenges
1) Challenges are selected at random by randomizing a number 1-50.
2) Challenges may only be attempted by the runner.
3) You may veto any challenge but must subtract the veto penalty of the specific challenge from your coins total (yes, you can go into negative coins).
4) You may attempt as many challenges as you want, but only one challenge may be attempted at a time.
Handicaps
1)While selecting a challenge, handicaps are mixed in with the challenges. They have a random chance of being selected like any other challenge from the list and may make the game temporarily more difficult for you or your team.
2)Once a team pulls a handicap, they must act on it immediately.
3)Handicaps are non vetoable.
