The premise of this activity is a competitive game played by teams or individuals in which the aim is to capture flags of varying point values and return them to your territory. You may only travel in the enemy’s territory by buying transit with coins gained from completing challenges. You may tag the enemy team if they are in your territory by taking a photo of them, thus sending them back to the neutral zone.
Recommended Number of Players - 4-8 players (teams of 2,3, or 4)
Recommended Playtime - 4-5 Hours
General
1)The starting location for this game is Metro Center Station (escalator entrance under canopy/just north of G street on 12th street).
2) Teams start the game with 750 coins and get 250 each time they resume play after being tagged. You do not lose coins if you are tagged.
3) The game map is north/south oriented. It is split down the middle dividing the map into two team territories. There is a neutral zone in the middle of the map and around all flags.
4) Teams or individuals must claim flags in enemy territory around the DMV area by travelling to them, taking a picture, then "returning" them to their team's zone by crossing the center line without being tagged (see the Tagging Section below). Flags may not be returned to the neutral zone.
5) Flags are worth one, three, or five points based on the distance from the neutral zone (closest flag = one point, middle flag = three points, and furthest flag = five points).
6) You must pay for your travel with game coins in enemy territory. You earn coins by completing randomly selected challenges (challenges must also be completed in enemy territory).
6a) Travel is free if you are in your own team's territory. You may not attempt challenges in your own territory.
7) Travel is purchased by the minute from the Travel Shop. The estimated trip length/travel duration (in minutes) from google maps is where you find the amount of minutes you need to buy. You may not refund any travel purchase and must make your purchase before you start your travel.
8)You may use any mode of transportation except cars owned by players or players' friends.
9) Every player is able to see the location of every other player throughout the game.
Player Roles
1) Players may either play as runners (attempting to capture flags and return them) or taggers (attempting to tag opponents as they come into the taggers' zone.
2) Runners and taggers must share the original teams balance of coins throughout the whole game (even when not together).
3) Each team may split into groups of runners and taggers, but these individual groups must pay for their own travel when not with the other groups (payment comes from team balance and may only pay for travel in enemy territory).
Tagging
1) The circled zones around the starting location and each flag are neutral zones where players may not tag or be tagged.
2) While playing the game, you may attempt to tag your opponents if they are in your territory. You tag someone by taking a picture of them. They must be clearly visible in the photo. If you tag someone, send it to them or post it in a premade group chat.
3) You may not tag anyone during the first 10 minutes of the game or the first 10 minutes after someone who was tagged resumes play following their penalty period.
4) If you are tagged, your flag is reset to its original position and you must return to the central neutral zone (around the starting location) to wait out a 15 minute penalty. You may not leave the neutral zone during this penalty.
Challenges
1) Challenges are selected at random by randomizing a number 1-50.
2) Challenges may only be attempted in enemy territory (since you only have to pay for travel in enemy territory).
3) You may veto any challenge but must subtract the veto penalty of the specific challenge from your coins total (yes, you can go into negative coins).
4) You may attempt as many challenges as you want in-between visiting flags, but only one challenge may be attempted at a time.
Handicaps
1)While selecting a challenge, handicaps are mixed in with the challenges. They have a random chance of being selected like any other challenge from the list and may make the game temporarily more difficult for you or your team.
2)Once a team pulls a handicap, they must act on it immediately.
3)Handicaps are non vetoable.

-Stay safe and maintain awareness during the game.
-Read the rules closely.
-Be creative with your plan and try to confuse your opponents.
-Use Google Maps to see all your travel options and time estimates (Maybe try to avoid calculating ETA to your final destination, look at what you can afford to get closer to your destination)
1) One extra point for using any three of the four modes of travel during the game.
