Prerequisites:
Thumb Drive
A Kiosk App
Any version before v119
Hold the power button and either sign out or continue to hold it.
Once signed out go into the bottom right panel and turn off your wifi.
Go to any Kiosk app [bottom left corner, apps] (80% work) When you click the kiosk press shift + alt + s
After the Kiosk fails to boot a panel should open now that you pressed the shortcut.
Within the panel, press the ? in the top. After pressing it, you'll want to sign in as an existing user.
After you put in your credentials, you may see: This administrator has disabled multiple sign in's for this device. Literally ignore it by pressing esc
After pressing esc you should see your regular school chrome account. X out of the window and there should be one behind it.
After on this window, you're going to want to go to chrome://settings and go to the on startup. Select: Open a specific page or set of pages. and type in these urls:
chrome://os-settings
chrome://file-manager
Now that you have done this, restart your chromebook by holding the power button and select sign out all. Now repeat steps 2-7. After you close the default school account you should now see the os settings and you should now be able to toggle the wifi back online.
Go here
Blocked?: If GitHub is blocked go to a proxy and type in the link. Then go download the zip file for the current version
Download the current version files and move them into a thumb drive. After doing so, then follow the steps again 2-7.
After you own the non-school account, go to the chrome://file-manager tab and right click (alt + click) on the zip file. Click on extract. It will now create a folder called whatever you named it. DRAG IT INTO THE DOWNLOADS FOLDER
Now go to the three dots in the top right corner of the window (where the x is) and click on New window
Now type in chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode. Then click Load Unpacked. Go into the folder IN DOWNLOADS that was previously created and there should be another folder within that one. Select it DONT GO INTO IT and click open.
After changing your shortcut, open a new tab and hit accept as chrome will alert you about it being the new tab page.
Note: Make sure to always open a new window (three dots), as this will allow you to upload files to things (Discord, etc)
Go here
Click on create new and change the name to whatever you want.
Once the editor boots up, run ctrl + s then click on save as.
Name the file whatever but remove the .png at the end.
Open a new tab, go to files, and double click on the file. It will open your school account now.
Just delete the school account window

An extension to make the browsing experience in the Skiovox exploit smoother. - bypassiwastaken/skiovox-helper
#1: Log out of the chromebook. Don’t go to the lock screen, click the power button and actually log out. Go to the menu in the bottom right corner and turn off the wi-fi.
#2: Go to your kiosk app, click it, and spam alt+shift+s right when you do. The accessibility menu should open in the bottom right, if it doesn’t retry.
#3: Wait until you reach the no wi-fi screen. Click on the accessibility symbol and then the question mark on the top right of the menu.
(If any of this is confusing refer to the old skiovox guide, it has all the images IH talk about)
#4: Now click on ‘sign in as existing user’ then sign in with your school account. Look around, you should be signed into a school chrome window. Exit out of that, there should be a unblocked skiovox window around. However, there’s still a problem in that there’s no wifi.
#5: go to chrome://settings. Look around for the startup settings, go to them, and set it so that whenever chrome is opened the web page chrome://os-settings opens automatically.
Step 6: Sign out of everything. Go back to the beginning of this guide, and follow everything up to the end of step 6. Now you should have a chrome://os-settings window open, turn on WiFi and change any other settings you want. Refer to the original skiovox guide to set up everything else.
If you cant do this quickly, and you are not at school, just forget the WiFi and when you enter the kiosk click the :add new WiFi" button. It shouldn't connect to any WiFis, and after signing in you need to go to chrome://network, click "Network Select" tab, and type in your WiFi password and connect. If it says "Changing shared network ETC... in red, switch the "Allow other users of this device to use this network" switch.
Doesn't need skiovox helper, works on latest version
For those who can't use normal methods
If you find that you don't have sign in as existing user button when u are on no wifi screen in kiosk app, do this:when you are at the normal sign in screen, turn off wifi, see if u have sign in as existing user there, if u do, click it, then continue to do the method
#1: On the sign in screen, put your username into the box without pressing enter or putting a space and copy it
#2: Turn off wifi
#3: Open your kiosk app and press alt+shift+s QUICKLY
#4: Wait for a no wifi screen
#5: Press accessibility, and then press the help icon
Do step 7, 8, and 10 steps FAST!!!!
7 Press "add other WiFi" and press "sign in as existing user"
9 Login to your school account as fast as possible, you could paste your username as fast as possible then type your password. This is especially easy if you have a number code or you use it for lunch or something.
10 If the kiosk app loads before you sign in you were too late
11 Press esc to cancel the multiple user dialog
12 Go to the chrome menu > more tools > task manager
13 Find the Chromebook help tab and double click on it
And you're done.
INSTRUCTIONS: https://skiovox.com/ OR https://skiovox.netlify.app/
Do not open this on your Chromebook; you won't be able to keep it open during the exploit. Open it on another device and use it as reference while doing this for the first time.
This is a really neat exploit; maybe the best enrolled exploit ever found. It allows you to open an unblocked browser on any device on any recent version, and it's a big pain for admins to block. The core part of the exploit was found by @akabutnice and I expanded it. Testing and advice was given by another group of awesome people.
if you really want to do it, try skipping 1.3 and replacing 1.5 with 2c. Then continue as usual (which means youll do 2a, 2b or 2c again as you turn wifi back on) (edited)
