The difference between exploits and bypasses is that exploits are using and changing the system, while bypasses don't change the system and just avoid detection, such as a VPN just making Securly or other blockers think that you're not at school and thus not work. These bypasses work on all versions of the Chromebook's OS and are not nearly as complicated as the exploits.
#1: Put The Lock Down for Securly
Found by pineapplesonapizzagowell
If you use this with Insecurly it will keep the extension from updating.
Add either #translate.google.com or #youtube.com-youtubei/v1/search to the end of any URL you're trying to visit and it will unblock the page
#1: VPN Extension
This is another extension method that you can use to bypass the Chromebook restrictions with. I can't guarantee that this method works because, like the other extension method, you have to have all extensions unblocked. It also depends on if your school has an IP detector, which checks if you're at school, or somewhere else. I used this method for a while before my school blocked the addition of unmanaged extensions.
Go to the Chrome Web Store
Type in Free VPN or go to this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/free-vpn-zenmate-best-vpn/fdcgdnkidjaadafnichfpabhfomcebme
Add the extension and go through the setups. Turn it on when you are at school and want unblocked sites
It's also good for protection/privacy online. Not much else to say about it. Very simple and straightforward.
#2: Byte Browser Extension App
This isn't an actual chrome bypass, but a group of extensions. It works by adding a new browser to your Chromebook from the chrome web store. *You cannot use this method if your school doesn't allow the addition of extensions outside of the ones that they allow*
#1: Go to the Chrome Web Store.
#2: Look up Byte Browser on the search tab, and add the first option.
#3: Open up the app and you're done.
If you're running into issues with performance, close the entire app and reopen it. The app doesn't close tabs when you close them, it keeps them running in the background.
#3: Wayback Machine Bypass
This is one that works if you have the wayback machine unblocked on your chromebook. I like it because you don't need to risk admin getting on your ass about "hacking the system", you can just say you were looking at old websites and they won't question it.
Go to https://archive.org/web/
Type in the website you want and click on the most recent archive of the website, it should load normally and you can use it to your heart's content.
