Message for the launching of website at "Methmihira"
Meth Mihira- Special Education Centre is situated at Koralawella, Morotuwa in Srilanka. This centre was initiated by the Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary in the year 2000. Seeing the great need to accompany and educate the differently abled children of this area the Sisters of Charity, decided to extend their service. Believing in the Power of God the SCJMs stepped into Koralawella. They walked along the beach and other ways looking for children those who were differently abled but not recognized by the society. Sisters wanted to share God’s love and educate them to stand on their feet and also to educate the family and others to accept them and respect them. First, sisters visited them in their own area and taught them. Seeing the good work of the sisters and the helplessness of the people Lillan Fund in Holland came forward to donate the present centre. Day by day the centre grew in number and quality service.
Dear sisters, I congratulate you and bless your effort for taking initiative to introduce website for the centre. Now it is very timely that you are introducing a website; this attempt of digital connection with the world will open new doors of prosperity of the centre in a time where the whole world is connected. It will enable you to gather more information and expand your knowledge. The outer world will recognize and discover and profit from your centre. This is my wish for you.
I wish you all the best. May God bless you and your service.
