A disorder affecting boys presenting with hypotonia at birth, who then lose the ability to hold up their heads midway during the first year of life. They develop muscular atrophy, joint contractures, and hyporeflexia.
On imaging these patients have hypomyelination with increased T1 signal in the internal capsules, and splenium of the corpus callosum
