「留言‧穿說─南島服飾裡的訊息與傳遞」特展，結合臺東縣政府之「臺東縣113年原住民族教育成果系列活動」，並透過「原住民族文化館協力輔導發展─國立博物館專業協力113年度計畫」和東區七個原住民文化（文物）館合作共做策展，邀請觀眾一同認識傳統與當代南島服飾裡的訊息，理解服飾裡的留言雖然不是文字，但在一針一線之間已是千言萬語。

Thousands of words made stitch by stitch.

The special exhibition "Messages, Transmissions, and Recreations of Austronesian Clothing", is part of the "Taitung County 2024 Indigenous Education Achievement Series Activities" organized by the Taitung County Government. It is curated in collaboration with the "Indigenous Cultural Museums Cooperative Development Project – National Museum Professional Collaboration 2024," and co-organized with seven Indigenous cultural (relics) museums in the eastern region. The exhibition invites audiences to explore the messages within traditional and contemporary Austronesian clothing, though these messages are not conveyed in words, but transformed into thousands of words made stitch by stitch.
