How should clothing be worn? How should its messages be conveyed? Although social changes have made the messages embedded in clothing harder to recognize, various forms of education are playing a key role in transmitting and spreading cultural knowledge. For instance, schools located within Indigenous communities have recently developed locally distinctive curricula, integrating knowledge of traditional crafts, natural ecology, and cultural customs into the courses. Beyond schools, museums also serve as cultural educators. In addition to large museums, local Indigenous cultural museums and heritage museums stand at the cultural crossroads. Their researches and exhibitions no longer focus limitedly on traditions but have become dialogues and interactions between tradition and modernity.
