Blythe Barton

Choreographer Biography:

Blythe Barton is currently Assistant Professor at San Diego Mesa College and danced professionally with both San Diego Dance Theater (2010-2018) and Malashock Dance (2009-2017). Her company, Blythe Barton Dance, was founded in 2010 and has won awards in ‘Outstanding Dance Production’ at the 2014 and 2015 San Diego Fringe Festivals and continues to present acclaimed work throughout Southern California. Blythe was a founding member of San Diego Dance Connect and is co-director of the 40 North Dance Film Festival. BFA Dance Performance, Chapman University, MFA Dance and Choreography, Florida State University.
