"Plex"

Plex was written for children between the ages of six and eleven, those individuals recovering from a stroke and in need of speech therapy, and people learning English as a second language. It is a basic guide to dog ownership.

Plex is a workbook written in prose and aimed at developing English comprehension skills. The reader completes the pictures and fills in the names or descriptions of the characters.

Plex, Shakespeare, and the original book, Puppy People and Kitty Kiddies, introduces new readers to a more mature book format. Each workbook is divided into chapters, with an acknowledgment, introduction, and definitions.

The author’s goal is to educate children to the responsibilities of caring for a pet, to have fun learning, and to encourage research.

Plex tells of the life of a dog from puppy to death. It is dedicated to the memory of Plex and the leash. The leash is the lifeline of a dog in our society.
