There are currently 135 Merit Badges that you can earn as a Scout. 18 of those are EAGLE required, there are a few of either/or. For 2021 there is a new merit badge is being added to the list - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. As of now the Diversity merit badge has not been released. All Eagle Required Merit Badge will have an asterisk (*) next to it.
