This October 20th will be 34 years since Paul Dirac passed away.
As part of our way of saying thank you and to honor Dr. Dirac’s memory, we will visit his grave, wash it down, and plant a flower.
Paul Dirac is regarded as one of the three greatest physicists of all time, right there with Einstein and Newton, and he is buried here in Tallahassee.
In the last few years we’ve had several physics graduate students join us. If you are able to attend, please join us: https://goo.gl/maps/CJp9HJeYEdQ2
- The academic descendants of Paul A.M. Dirac.
P. S. This might also be in coordination with the quantum classes and others.
Note: I still find many colleagues that do not know that Dirac's grave is here in Tallahassee and not in Westminster Abbey. However, there is a plate in Westminster Abbey dedicate to Dirac there next to Newton.
