Our Rooms
This room is designed similarly to an old-style classroom. We have everything from old desks, to pictures of the first schools in Melville!
This room has many old sewing machines, spinning wheels, and other tools to make clothing.
Various collectible items such as tins, trophies, cameras, and hats can all be found in this room!
Melville has a very rich history. Come learn about Saskatchewan's former politicians, admire a jacket owned by Charles Melville Hays, or read about the history of Dome Petroleum.
Complete with an ice box, this room will feel like a blast from the past. We have numerous old cooking tools that were used in everyday kitchens throughout history.
In the original Luther Academy, this room was a bedroom for senior students. Now, it is our study! This room has artifacts ranging from old office supplies, to menus from the old King George Hotel.
This room has many timeless dolls and toys that children have enjoyed in the past.
Saskatchewan is known for its large history of agriculture. This room is packed with old tools and machinery from when farming was just taking off in the province.
This room has many donated wedding dresses that show various styles throughout the years.
