Welcome to the first floor! This floor features 6 themed rooms and a board room. We have a chair lift at the side entrance, so this floor is accessible to all!
The chapel features many artifacts donated by the local churches in Melville and the surrounding area! Learn about the history of religion in Saskatchewan and admire the building's original chandelier and pews.
The Library is home to a large variety of German-language volumes, teaching texts, and early medical books. We also carry an assortment of local history books that contain family histories.
The museum was formerly a long-term care home. This room looks similar to what the old resident rooms may have looked like. This room contains many old medical tools and equipment.
This artifact room shows how ladies' fashion has changed throughout the years. We also have a display for Melville's 1939 Royal visit and information about the Royal Family.
Centered around World War 1; this room has everything from decommissioned weapons, to a replica of Robert Combe's Victoria Cross.
This room has many artifacts about the H.M.C.S. Melville and a large collection of memorabilia about World War 2.
You can rent our boardroom and kitchen!
The boardroom is $25 for half a day and $50 for the full day.
Our kitchen can be rented for $10.
