I have collaborated with SMEs and eLearning designers to develop original eLearning content using Articulate 360 (using Rise and Storyline). Below are several examples. The nursing content are part of our collaborative effort while the education content is material I developed independently.
A more recent educational endeavor of mine has been incorporation of active learning guides (ALGs) in online courses. If crafted carefully, ALGs can guide online learners by helping them to make sense of what they are learning -- not strictly to learn for exams but to encourage deep, lasting learning and metacognition. I led a group of 5 instructional designers to develop active learning guide templates and instructions for faculty.
Most recently, I mined our student evaluation data in Tableau and found information supporting the use of ALGs.
Both ABSN programs utilize ATI test preparation for the NCLEX exams. I recently collaborated on a project researching best practices relating to ATI. The outcome was this infographic that shows relevant information for partner schools, faculty, students, and instructional designers.
