I am a first-generation college student with more than 17 years of experience in the field of education. I began my career as a secondary English teacher and then obtained my Master's in Education with a concentration on Curriculum and Instruction in 2011. For nearly 11 years I have worked as an instructional designer. I've been a part of so many diverse experiences from working with Apple and iTunes U to developing training programs for both online and blended course delivery to hosting workshops on current academic technologies. I began my Doctorate in Education with a concentration on Organizational Leadership in 2020 and have an anticipated completion date of Fall 2023. I recognize the need for quality and engagement in course design and implementation, as well as the need for effective leadership in this area.
