Welcome! My name is Melissa Fasiczka. I have a Bachelor's degree from Elmhurst University (2009) in English and History and a Master's degree from Eastern Illinois University (2013) in European History. In December of 2022, I am set to graduate from Trinity Christian College's Adult Undergraduate program and obtain my Teacher Licensure in Middle Grades Social Science and Secondary History.

I am an educator who believes in combining subject expertise with a kind, caring environment for students. I see each of the students entrusted to me as an individual, with unique learning styles, strengths, and potential. I am committed to believing in each child who walks through the doors of my future classroom, even when they don't believe in themselves.

My ultimate endeavor is to share and foster a love of literacy, history, and learning with my students.
