Dr. Sehyuk Yim
He received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering, the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 2009, all from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), 2012. He was a postdoctoral research associate in the mechanical engineering department at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) during 2014 and 2015.
Currently, he is a principle research scientist leading a lab at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). His research interests are how to create, augment and interpret the sensori-emotional interaction between humans and robots using intelligent machines and convergence media.
