Meg A. Warren, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management at Western Washington University. She is a Faculty Affiliate of the Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan and Co-Founder of the POISED (Positive Organizational Inclusion Scholarship for Equity and Diversity) micro-community at the Center.
She is a Mentor-Editor of The Op-Ed Project, a high-level, micro-mentoring volunteer program, in which thought leaders at the highest levels give feedback to new and promising voices publishing in major media outlets. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Lydia Place and as a mentor at Opportunity Council's Economic Security for All Program, non-profits dedicated to preventing homelessness and improving financial wellbeing.
She was the Founding President of the Work & Organizations Division (WOD) of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), a Co-Founder of the Western Positive Psychology Association (WPPA), and a Co-Editor of the International Journal of Wellbeing. She serves on the editorial boards of Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology (journal of American Psychological Association, Division 45), and the Middle East Journal of Positive Psychology. As former Director of the HRM program and Assistant Professor of Practice at Claremont Graduate University, she developed the first Master’s level program in Positive Human Resource Development.
Dr. Warren is the lead editor of two books, "Scientific Advances in Positive Psychology" and "Toward a Positive Psychology of Relationships: New Directions in Theory and Research." Her work has been featured in numerous scholarly articles and popular media outlets.
She earned her Ph.D. in Positive Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, M.A. in Organizational Development and Adult Education from Alverno College, MBA in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, and Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, India.
