Meghan A. Balk, Ph.D.

I am interested in the ecological and evolutionary drivers of phenotypic change - and their consequences . I am particularly interested in determining the ecological consequences and evolutionary responses of drivers of trait change and trait variation across time, levels of biotic organization, and habitats.

I utilize museum collections and am passionate about digitizing these invaluable data resources.  I digitize data in the form of imaging data and enabling metadata standards to preserve and enable FAIR data for continued exploration of data-driven science.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Evolutionary Paleobiology Group at the Naturhistorisk museum in Oslo, Norway.  Check out my Research tab for a list of current projects.
