Welcome to Meds App, your personal tool for tracking medications, symptoms, fluid intake, and other daily health details.
This guide explains every page, button, and report so you can get the most from the app.
The Home page is your starting point.
From here, you can add new entries or access records quickly.
Main buttons:
Add Symptom β Record a new symptom and its details.
Add Med β Log a medication dose.
Add Fluid β Record water or fluid intake.
Add BM β Record a bowel movement.
Summary β View and manage all previous entries.
At the top of the screen, youβll also see access to Reports, Manage Lists, and Settings via the bottom tab bar.
Use this page to track every medication you take.
To add a medication:
Tap Add Med on the Home screen.
Choose the medication name from your saved list or enter a new one.
Enter the dose (e.g., 10 mg) and time taken.
Select the type (tablet, capsule, liquid, patch, injection, or other).
Tap Save.
To edit or delete:
Go to Summary β Medications and swipe left on any entry to delete it.
Reports:
Totals and first/last dates appear in Reports and in the Medication Duration view.
Use this to note how you feel and when symptoms occur.
To add a symptom:
Tap Add Symptom on the Home screen.
Choose a symptom from your list (or add a new one).
Optionally, for Headache, specify:
Region: temporal, occipital, frontal, parietal, or generalized.
Side: left, right, bilateral, or midline/unknown.
Add optional notes for severity or triggers.
Tap Save.
To edit or delete:
Go to Summary β Symptoms and swipe left on the record to delete.
Stay hydrated by logging your water and other fluid intake.
To add a fluid entry:
Tap Add Fluid on the Home screen.
Enter the amount in ounces or liters (the app converts automatically).
Tap Save.
The app tracks your daily goal (default: ~3.7 L / 125 oz for adult males).
You can change the goal in Settings.
Reports show total intake and remaining goal for the day.
Use this to privately track bowel movements.
To add an entry:
Tap Add BM on the Home screen.
Select date and time.
Optionally, record notes such as:
Consistency (hard, normal, loose)
Effort or discomfort
Color or unusual features
Tap Save.
To edit or delete:
Go to Summary β Bowel Movements, swipe left to delete.
The Summary page shows every record youβve entered, organized by category.
Options:
Tap a category (Symptoms, Meds, Fluids, BM) to see all entries.
Swipe left on any record to delete it.
Use this page to correct errors or review your history at a glance.
Generate clear summaries of your data.
You can:
Choose a date range for reports.
Select what to include: Meds, Symptoms, Fluids, Bowel, or Both.
View totals and summary stats.
Export results as a CSV file for printing or sharing.
Reports help you review medication schedules, hydration progress, and symptom patterns over time.
Personalize what appears in your dropdown menus.
You can manage:
Medications β add, edit, delete, or reorder.
Symptoms β customize or favorite common ones.
Quick Picks β preset doses for faster entries.
Fluid Types β edit default drinks (water, tea, etc.).
Changes save automatically. These lists appear in the entry screens throughout the app.
This feature shows the first date, last date, and total time youβve been on each medication.
View:
Reports β Medication Durations.
Includes:
First and last dose dates
Total days on med
Total doses
Gaps or restarts (if any)
You can export a dedicated Medication Duration Report (CSV or PDF) separately from other reports.
By default, the daily goal is 3.7 L / 125 oz.
You can change this in Settings to match your body weight or activity level.
The app recalculates automatically and shows progress on the Fluid page.
You can add optional details such as:
Time of day
Texture or type
Notes for pain, color, or effort
Entries are stored chronologically for pattern tracking.
From Manage β Symptoms, you can:
Add or rename symptoms
Organize them by category or tag
βStarβ favorites for faster access on the main entry screen
Import/export your list as JSON if needed
Meds App never transmits data to the internet.
Everything you record stays on your device and inside your control.
Exporting CSV reports is optional and manual.
Deleting the app will erase all locally stored data.
