What are some exampes of health information we might search for online?
Example: Ads claiming a single supplement or treatment can cure cancer, diabetes, or heart disease.
Why it’s misleading: Real treatments take time, research, and a mix of methods. Instant cures are usually not proven and can be dangerous.
Example: Products that claim you can "lose 10kg in one week" without changing your diet or exercising.
Why it’s misleading: Fast weight loss is unhealthy and often temporary. Effective weight loss requires proper diet and exercise.
Example: Juice cleanses or detox drinks that claim to remove "toxins" from your body.
Why it’s misleading: Your body already has its own detox systems (liver, kidneys). These diets often lack proof and proper nutrition.
