Google slides used to present information to any kind of person and it can be shared or published online for others to see. Google slides has many options on how to edit the presentation. There is fade, shadow, and many other transitions that grabs the attention of the viewers. The example given is from a case study about boy called Toby J.. As you can see the editing has all of the features of google documents. All google tools can be inserted into a slide.
This tool can be used for instructions since you can record what is one your screen. I have used this many times for other courses and it was really helpful. If you cannot screenshot you can use this to create an image or videos for instruction. There is a subscription to get better editing tools but this is not required. There is a free version that allows minimal editing, also this can be saved in google drive, documents, or into a PDF.
Interactive tool used by teachers to assess and present. This includes interactive videos, lessons, and activities for the student to stay engaged in the lesson. Each teacher makes their own class and invites the students to join on their computers. Students then see the readings or videos on their computers, this is shown in a presentation style. The teacher moves the class at their pace and the students screens move with it. The teacher can also see the students computer screens to make sure everyone is on task.
Quizlet is also another useful resource to teach student and review content that is being covered. Quizlet provides many options on content to learn. This content ranges from history, math, science, health, and more. Many teachers create quizlet's as study guides for students before exams. These come in many forms like post card where you read the definition and guess the word on the other side. There is also another form like an exam where students see the word and guess the definition.
