Google forms is used for quick multiple choice questions or written response questions. The blank document is easy to navigate and allows creativity in your work. From what was gathered in my experience with google forms, you can create questions and get answers from students or parents. Most teachers use paper assessments since most of the time students are in class. Since COVID-19 a lot of teachers have transitioned to online platforms. This is perfect for the use of google forms since teachers can send this to students in the middle of a zoom meeting. This tool can also be implemented for other events like after school, sports, and fundraisers by the school. For example I have created a short quiz on the history of 1812.
Kahoot has been instilled into my brain at this point. It is an interactive competitive learning and remembering game that a teacher can use to see where student are at in the content. I will use this when I am a teacher because they are fun and interactive. No class that I have been in has said that they did not like kahoot. It seems like a game to younger children but it is a great informal assessment for the teacher. Kahoot also has something called pulse checks which are short quizzes that can be in the middle of a lesson. This example is about non-fiction text features.

Quizlet can be used for assessing student learning quite easily. When you create your account, students and teachers can add a class to see what is posted. Teachers can post test and quizzes here for students to complete. These can be done individually or in class for review of the content. A lot of students have taken it upon themselves to create Quizlet's about classes they are in or what they have learned. Some of these go right along with the quiz and some are just review of a generalized topic. Again since COVID-19 has been around online courses have been using Quizlet for assessment. The example given is a short quiz on science safety terms.
Padlet is an interactive website that allows teachers to create maps, grids, streams where the content is top to bottom, and you can create a canvas. This can be posted and shared with students. The map is interactive and students can post their pins on the map to show knowledge of geographical locations. Another interesting feature is a time line where students can make to show the line of history before or after and event. Students can also join a Padlet during class to watch the teacher put content in the Padlet. Assessment wise students can create a portfolio of what they have completed during the term and show their accomplishments. The example given is a glimpse on how the United States entered the War of 1812, showing locations and the blockades that took place.
A Jam board is used for groups in just about any setting. Teachers or leaders at a work place can share the a link for people to leave comments. Teachers use this for group work over zoom, when the teacher asks a question the students can put their answer or opinions on the Jamboard. This is also used for feedback for the teacher to adapt to student learning. Assessment wise the teacher could have students create a portfolio of what the students have completed . Also students can be asked to create a Jamboard where they put photos and other items to show their knowledge of the content they learned. Another assessment that could be used is the students create their own quiz of what they think was most important during the lesson.
