The Travancore Engineering College possesses an excellent library. The library has computerized its operations and services using standard Integrated Library Management Software. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) enables the users to search books and other materials by author, title, subject, publisher, keyword, call number, and accession number. TEC Central Library has a sound collection of Books, Journals, Periodicals, etc is promotes continuous learning among its students and faculty. One of the major highlights of the Travancore Engineering College is its 3200sq.ft Central Library. It has about 1880 Volumes and 3940 Titles of Books. In addition to these facilities, there is a separate Reference Section that has about 1500 titles with a seating capacity of 50 and also a Digital Library section with 10 Computer systems. In this fully automated Library with LIBMAX Library Software, members can search the books by author, title, Acc. number etc. The library subscribes to 115 printed periodicals including research journals and magazines.

The library has a state-of-the-art digital library with high-speed internet connectivity. This would ensure seamless access to up-to-minute information, which is crucial in this information age. The digital library provides access to more than 6000 online journals and 31 lakh e-books through UGC N-LIST and to thousands of Open Access Journals and databases.

Alethea, the library is a computerized information system, which has all facilities for information storage and retrieval. It is an open-access library system. All the students, faculty, and non-teaching staff are members of this library. It is a well-furnished library with modern amenities. The library has a seating capacity of 201. The library functions from 8:00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. on all days except national holidays. Separate department libraries are available in each department. A Reprographic facility is available on the library premises.
