Means Express Courier Services
• Service-level agreement (SLA) defines the level of service we expect from our logistics partners, laying out the metrics by which service is measured, as well as remedies or penalties should agreed-on service levels not be achieved.
Meeting all SLA’s is imperative to our business model and directly impacts the LP’s future deliveries from our platform. Delivery performance is graded on many factors and will directly impact the deliveries you see on a consistent basis. These factors include but are not limited to,
Pricing – pricing is pre-negotiated and set with the customer. We then pass on this pricing model to our logistic partners in the form of a delivery opportunity for acceptance. Once accepted contracts are signed and all training items are addressed, deliveries will be released to you.
Insurance – each logistics partner must maintain the proper insurance coverages required of you in your Service Agreement AND any additional coverages our customer's demand. These additional coverages will be addressed in each individual delivery opportunity
Order Acceptance or Declining – accepting or declining orders timely directly impacts our service levels. Accepting or declining orders within 5 minutes is standard for MeansExpress.
If accepting an order MeansExpress fully expects the completion of said order. Canceling an accepted order severely impacts our ability to make an on-time delivery and will impact future deliveries.
Meeting On-Time Deliveries - Meeting or not meeting SLA requirements will directly impact future deliveries.
TMS and Device Compliance – delivery start time, delivery end time, proof of delivery, signature and receiver name must all be completed and may directly impact future deliveries.
Customer Service – NPS (Net Promoter Score), personnel compliance, personnel attire and on-site security procedures may impact future deliveries. Individual requirements are addressed in each delivery opportunity
Communication – communication between your dispatch personnel and our fulfillment team is essential in our platform. We fully expect our fulfillment team to address any exceptions quickly in order to meet the customer SLAs. We ask the same of our logistics partners, be attentive and answer our fulfillment team as quickly as possible to ensure a great experience for all parties.
