1950 Opening Weekend

Records for this year indicate that a prize for biggest trout was to be awarded at midnight. This was the first mention of an Opening Weekend only fishing contest. Up to this point the fishing contest was a summer long event and only open to members of the Mystic Order of Trout Fisherman of Meadowbrook on the Pine. There is no record of the winner or the prize.
