Yeonghun Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Incheon National University and also the PI of the Materials and Devices Theory Laboratory. His research group studies materials and devices theory for future semiconductor and quantum technologies. Prior to this, he completed his second PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas and worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a postdoc. He also worked at SK hynix after finishing his first PhD in Electronics and Applied Physics at Tokyo Institute of Technology (now the Institute of Science Tokyo) where his research focused on transport theory and device characterization. During the first PhD, he was a JSPS Fellow (DC1). He finished his undergraduate study in physics at the University of Tsukuba under the Korea-Japan Joint Government Scholarship Program.
