I am a first-generation college student with more than 20 years of experience in the field of education. I began my career as a secondary English teacher and then obtained my Master's in Education with a concentration on Curriculum and Instruction in 2011. For nearly 14 years I have worked as an instructional designer. I've been a part of so many diverse experiences from working with Apple and iTunes U to developing training programs for both online and blended course delivery to hosting workshops on current academic technologies. I completed my Ed. D. in Organizational Leadership and Development from Grand Canyon University in Fall 2024. My dissertation focus was best practices in workplace mentor programs, an area that I am passionate about!
I enjoy biking on rail trails, gardening, and home improvement projects. Since my 3 children are grown and left the nest, my husband David and I now tend to our furry children. Below is my most recent resume.
