Md Furkanur Rahaman Mizan is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Food Science and Technology, Chung-Ang University (CAU). After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering from Khulna University (Bangladesh), he went to South Korea (2012) and got a Ph.D. in Food Microbiology from Chung-Ang University (2017). He was a Post-doctoral researcher at the Advanced Food Safety Research Group. He achieved best researcher award in the Life Science categories in 2016 at CAU.

Areas of Research Interest: Biofilm, Quorum Sensing, Seafood, Food Safety, Food Microbiology.
