Hey, McVay!
Are you a student in middle or high school? Do you know someone in middle or high school? Students in middle and high school are welcome to join Hamline University McVay Youth Partnership's after school program!
When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 3:30-6:00pm
Programming will begin on Monday, September 15 for the 2025-2026 school year.
What: An after school program for middle and high school students that provides a safe, fun, and supportive environment for youth to learn and grow. Programming includes games, group activities, snacks, and homework help, with a focus on building connections and community. Activities are led by trained, caring, and energetic Hamline University students and staff.
Through this program youth participants are encouraged to try new things, to explore current opportunities and discover future possibilities.
This university-church partner program takes place at First Covenant Church in St. Paul and Path of Grace UMC, in Maplewood. In partnership, these churches provide space and hospitality, support youth and staff, and collaborate in a variety of ways.
No cost to participate.
Funding is provided by a generous endowment from the McVay Family Foundation.
