This team is based on the Oath Keepers and the Yavapia County Preparedness Team organizations. As the MCPT is a group, I believe it is important to state our mission.
Using the Reach, Teach, Train, and Inspire (RTTI) model, we can have the widest impact within our community and beyond.
• We will Reach out to those currently serving in the Military and Law Enforcement, to Veterans, and to all interested Citizens.
• We will Teach that no one has to obey an unlawful order or law that violates the Constitution of the United States.
• We will Train community members to be prepared for an emergency event. Such events include economic collapse of the United States, a grid failure (due to electromagnetic pulses, cyber attack, solar flares, etc.), civil unrest/civil war, food shortages, and short-term emergencies.
• We will Inspire Americans to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, and to protect citizens against tyranny and oppression.
What MCPT is not:
• We are not a political organization. Anyone who wishes to attend or speak is welcome. That said, there will be an invocation, as well as the Pledge of Allegiance, at the beginning of each meeting.
• We are not a militia. We are a group of American citizens who believe in upholding the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.
What MCPT is:
We are here to help our friends, family, and community to prepare for emergencies and to help the professional first responders in the event of an emergency or disaster. Your desire to learn, your skills, and your willingness to help your community are the cornerstone of American ideals.
Together, we can make a difference and help give others peace of mind in these troubled times.
