The McLaren F1 chassis #002 was the first F1 customer car ever built (001 was a pre-customer car), and was bought by the Sultan of Brunei, and is still owned by him, sitting in his garage. This is the only other car besides #001 with the circle shaped recess, as talked about in the Chassis #001 article. This car has hardly ever seen the light of day, and has never been spotted publicly, leading to a lack of information and pictures. Nevertheless, I inclueded below all the pictures and post dates that I could find for #002. Enjoy!
This obviously wasn't sighted on the 25th of January 2021 based on photo quality, but that was the blog post's creation date.
A couple more pictures were posted by u/21212121savage (banned account) on reddit. Again, not much info is provided on this vehcile, other than being said again that it remains in the Sultan's garage.
The original owner's manual for this vehicle, info filled out by Gordon Murray himself, is up for sale on Collector Studio. We have a single rare image of this manual, as seen below. As far as I can see, this is the only manual to ever be seperated from the car.
