One Month is an introductory program from the Space Hardware Club at UAH that gives small teams the opportunity to design, build, and fly a high altitude payload within...one month (roll credits).
My role on my team was as the electrical lead. I selected instrumentation and actuators, designed an electrical schematic for them, then soldered them onto a board for flight. The budget for each payload was $20, so that's why the cardboard box doesn't look exactly aerospace grade. The flight was a partial success. The payload performed all operations nominally, but fell into a large cluster of trees and was unable to be recovered.
