McKinley County Early Childhood Coalition is a result focused, collaborative coalition that strives to strengthen family leadership and to consistently include community voice through a shared commitment to improve systems for the families and children in McKinley County.
VISION
McKinley County Early Childhood Coalition works collaboratively to engage the community to have healthy children and families by strengthening quality early childhood partnerships and family voice.

In 2021 The McKinley County Early Childhood Coalition applied and received the NM Early Childhood Education and Care Department, Local Ealry Childhood Systems Building Grant. The coalition completed a needs assessment in 2022 and a Strategic and Evaluation Plan in 2023. The coalition has three main goals with objectives:
Family Engagement - MCECC engages family and community across systems to increase awareness and access to early childhood programs and services that support family well-being; support families with educational and positive cultural experiences; build a family/community leadership/action and advisory group to the coalition; and collaborate to increase childcare opportunities for entrepreneurs in communities.
