Many of MCC's concurrent enrollment classes transfer to regional and national colleges and universities. When planning your education plan, students should learn not only if their classes transfer but also how they transfer.
For additional assistance, reach out to your Dual Enrollment Navigator or the Enrollment Team at the college you plan to attend after high school.
Transferology by CollegeSource is an excellent tool to estimate which classes will transfer to the university you plan to attend. Students should always confirm the transferability of a course with the university's advising or enrollment team.
Through the 2024-2025 academic year, concurrent enrollment classes are usually* free for high school students. At MCC, tuition is waived for all high school programs.
*Some schools charge a fee for supplies and books. Students and parents should consult their high school to learn more about these fees.
If you are interested in participating in any of our dual enrollment or dual credit programs, the first step is to apply to MCC. The application is completely free. To get started, create a new account and fill out your demographic information.
Are you wanting to utilize dual enrollment opportunities to get a head start on your education after high school? Use our Career & Education Planning Tool to help you plan the classes you will need and when you want to take them.
Pro Tip: You can also track your scholarships in this tool.
MCC's scholarship application is NOW OPEN! The deadline for the Early Bird Scholarship is December 1, 2023. If you would like assistance in completing the scholarship application, reach out to your MCC Navigator.
KSOI is our online high school program wherein high school students can take online college classes through MCC on a semester schedule (August - December and January - May). To sign up for these classes, complete registration form below.
If you have taken a dual credit class through CollegeNOW! or KSOI (class for high school and college credit), you will need to send your counselor a copy of your unofficial transcript once the class is complete. You can contact your Dual Enrollment Navigator (DEN) or login to your MCC account to send your unofficial transcript.
Are you a current senior getting ready for college? If you are planning to attend a four-year or two-year institution (not MCC), you will probably need your official transcripts sent to your college before you begin taking classes there. Contact your Dual Enrollment Navigator (DEN) with any questions you have about sending your official transcripts.
