Downloading Your Unofficial Transcript

Unofficial and Official College Transcripts

Unofficial College Transcripts can be used for dual credit classes you've taken through CollegeNOW! or KSOI to add the class to your high school transcripts. Your counselor will need a copy of your unofficial transcripts with the class grade once the class is finished. The grades are usually applied to your unofficial transcript one week after the end of the class. Some colleges can use unofficial transcripts during your first advising visit, which usually takes place during a scheduled college tour.

Official Transcripts are used by other universities and colleges to confirm your transfer credits.

Accessing Your Unofficial Transcripts

To find your unofficial transcripts, first go to to MCC's home page. Then, scroll down the page and click on the pink student links tile. Choose the Self Service option.

Now, login to your MCC account. This is the same login information that you used for Canvas and your MCC student email. If you know your username, but your password is not working, you can click the "forgot password" option or call IT at 531-622-2900.

If you do not know your username, contact your Navigator (ECN or DEN). They will be able to send you your username and help you login for the first time.

Once you've logged in and are on the Self Service page, click the menu in the upper left corner of the page. Then, choose the "Academics" drop down menu. One of the last options will be "Unofficial Transcripts." Click on "Unofficial Transcripts" to open the download page.

Now, you should be able to see your unofficial transcript link. Click on the link to download your unofficial transcript. It should download as a PDF file.
