en·sem·ble
/änˈsämbəl/
~ a group of musicians, actors, or dancers who perform together.
~ a group of items viewed as a whole rather than individually.
✅ATTENDANCE
Present at rehearsals
On time to class
Notify teacher of planned absences
🕺BEHAVIOR
You are always auditioning
Respect self, others, property
Maintain both audience and rehearsal etiquette
📌COMMITMENT
Theatre is not a spectator sport
You are expected to participate every day
Doing the work is your responsibility both in and outside of class
Regular attendance is crucial because missing class means missing out on a lot. Often, we have just one day to learn and choreograph an entire song. If you’re absent, you lose the chance to learn alongside your classmates, earn featured moments, and secure a focused placement. Additionally, being tardy, eating during class, displaying a negative attitude, or showing disrespect toward yourself or others disrupts the theatrical experience—not only for you but for the entire ensemble. Let’s all commit to creating a positive, respectful, and focused environment where everyone can thrive.
Failure to comply may result in refocus, loss of role, and/or loss of the privilege to participate in the production. Alternate assignment(s) are available for students who are unable to uphold this contract.
I agree to abide by this contract and understand that I am working as an ensemble member to create a successful production with my class. A copy of this contract has been emailed and posted to Schoology for your reference.
