Cognitive Functions

Attitudes:

• Introversion: 

This attitude is associated to processing an object based on subjective factors (logical reasoning or values). This attitude focuses less on the external world around them within cognition. In the case of IIEE stack, for example, their Extroverted functions would be repressed into the unconscious shadow of their psyche. Though they are still somewhat focused on the data that lies within the external world to an extent, but they focus on the data that lies within the external world to more than their internal world. 

• Extroversion: 

This attitude is associated to processing an object based on objective factors (group reasoning or group values). For example, someone with an EEII stack would repress their Introversion into their unconscious portions of their psyche (their shadows if you use Jungian terminology). Objectivity is the key throughout their psyche as the extroversion implies that the external world possesses the sense of objectivity that also comes from Cognitive Extroversion. Though, Cognitive Extroversion could use their Internal worlds to primarily focus on the data that lies within the external world in comparison to their internal world.

Functions: 

• Perceiving Functions: 

Introverted Sensation - Si is responsible for gathering the impression of sensory data from the five senses (seeing, touching, tasting, smelling, hearing). The impression of five senses gives a meaning to experience sensory details within their world that they have built up from their storehouses of sensory impressions that they have organized within their head that they created extensively detailed meanings to. An example of a usage of Introverted Sensation was if a person was to use view history in how they subjectively view the details of that historical event (they attempt to relive that event inside of their heads). What Introverted Sensation is not is being traditional or being "past-oriented" or "submissive" like stereotypes about the function imply. Si could also use their subjective impressions of sensory details and their five senses for abstract purposes, like how Ni could be used for more concrete purposes. 

Extroverted Sensation - Se is the function that gathers objective facts and sensory data from the external world, which implies that they are the most objective function of the eight functions in terms of how it perceives information. What Extroverted Sensation is not is being a party-animal, living in the "present moment", or being a "chad". Se and Ne are similar in the sense that they both gather information from the external world; however, Ne gathers many different possibilities from the external world while Se gathers tangible facts from the objective world. Extroverted Sensation could also be used in an abstract manner, like when Se gathers outward abstractions, but it takes in those outward abstractions for as they are as opposed to how Ne finds connections between the many abstractions that they collect from the external world.

Introverted Intuition - Ni is a function that is responsible for organizing their subjective impressions inside of their psyches. However, Introverted Intuition organizes subjective impressions of their abstractions and generalized conceptualizations within their psyches. Some ways that Si and Ni contrast is that while Si subjectively experiences the event like they witnessed it first hand, Ni attempts to dig into the metaphorical roots behind a past event and the deeper, underlying concepts with significance to them to why the event that they experienced happened. Introverted Intuition (Ni) is not being a psychic, predicting the future, being a visionary, being a "mastermind", planning, or exclusively being "in your head" (all types with Introverted dominance will make you live inside of your head). What Introverted Intuition (Ni) can do is to synthesize (Ni's method of organizing gathered data) information that it gathered in the past into general conceptualizations and subjective abstractions.

Extroverted Intuition -> Like Extroverted Sensation (Se), Extroverted Intuition is a gathering function to which it consumes data from the outside world and organizes it later within its perceiving axis. However, unlike Extroverted Sensation, Extroverted Intuition (Ne) is divergent within the psyche, meaning that it builds upon its organizations with external possibilities as opposed to Se converging onto its organizations with hard facts. Extroverted Intuition is primarily responsible for gathering outward abstractions and possibilities from within the objective world and connecting those dots and possibilities within their minds. Ne could also work somewhat concrete method, like how it could collect concrete facts, but they find many different connections between the many concrete facts that they have gathered. Ne is not being a "pixie", having ADHD, being a comedian, being a clown, being highly chaotic, or being a "shit-poster". 

• Judging functions: 

Introverted Thinking -> Introverted Thinking is the function that is responsible for making judgements based on subjective frameworks of logical reasoning and axioms that they hold as true to them subjectively (not everyone will see their axioms as true). Generally, Ti is quite obstinate about their own logical reasoning (regardless of external changes) within their psyches as opposed to Te, which changes its logic to adjust to external facts. Think of Ti as a philosophical function, which attempts to make sense of the world around it via its own frameworks of logical reasoning and the information that it gathers to support their own logical opinions about how ethics, the mind, metaphysics, existence, reality, and the abstractions of the universe and how they work in ways to which they constantly analyze their own lexemes to come to a universal understanding of their theories. What Ti is not is being scientific (that is actually Te), being smart, being a nerd, being an engineer, being a celibate, or being a Discord/Reddit user. 

Extroverted Thinking -> Unlike Introverted Thinking (which has a more philosophical approach at logical reasoning, which pertains to the subjectivity involved in the logical reasoning of philosophy), Extroverted Thinking is responsible for more objective and generally accepted forms of thinking that are involved within the scientific method, which is a logical method that involves proving hypotheses with standardized methods, such as experimentation, data collection, discovering general trends, and coming to generally accepted upon conclusion to prove a concept from theory to a generally agreed upon fact or law. Te sticks to objectively proven methods for their own logical reasoning as opposed to subjective theories that aren't supported by a factual basis. Generally, Extroverted Thinking focuses on empirical facts and methods that achieve practical results and uses them to establish or reform logical systems, Te thinks that the environment needs to follow standardized rules to establish order in the external world. Te seeks to streamline external systems and plans in order to reach intellectual results in an objective and systematic manner. Some false stereotypes about Te involve Te being permanently angry, Te being the strict boss or supervillain, Te making shallow generalizations and Te always being impulsive or reckless.

Introverted Feeling -> Like Introverted Thinking, Introverted Feeling is very much focused on itself for their judgements of reality and their individual modes of reasoning. However, unlike Introverted Thinking, Introverted Feeling focuses on making judgements and decisions based on what they personally value the most. In a sense, their personal axioms are morally and emotionally based instead of it being based from logical deductions and abstractions that Ti bases its axioms from. Like Ti, Fi is a very obstinate function about their values, like any of the Introverted Deciding functions within a persons cognitive stack within the universal human psyche. Some misconceptions about the Introverted Feeling function is that it is the function that is within people that cry constantly, people who are depressed, people who are apart of the gothic/emo subcultures, artists, and more. Art can be done with different functions, like how Ti would typically make or analyze art in a more lexical manner. Fi is typically more impressionistic in their thinking compared to Ti's lexicality in how it analyzes chaos and the existing lexemes within their psyches. 

Extroverted Feeling -> Like Extroverted Thinking, this function is rather flexible about their judgements based on external factors within a given world. Unlike Extroverted Thinking, which is considered more scientific and business-like thinking that is based on external logical factors such as time-taken, data-tables, objective measurements, certain trends, etc; Extroverted Feeling uses objective, pre-determined ethics and moral establishments that prevail within modern-day society and making judgements about other people based on those pre-determined ethics and moral structures within society. The reasoning for stating that Extroverted Feeling is flexible in their judgements is because of how their values are based on the values of those around them like how Extrovert Thinking's logical judgements are based on the data that they have collected to come to an inductive conclusion via a larger external framework of reasoning. Meanwhile, Extroverted Feeling is not being dramatic, being "manipulative", being care-takers, being hyperemotional, etc.
