One of our projects at Momentum Blue Seattle is to make and distribute buttons, demo signs, and other graphic materials to support folks who are Standing UP! for Freedom and Democracy. These "Immigrants Belong" buttons have proven to be very popular in the greater Seattle area. We have distributed over 700 of them. We are currently working to get buttons to activists in Charlotte, NC and to local WAND volunteers who are canvassing businesses in our own community with know your rights information and resources.

How to get buttons

Two ways:

1) If you are in the greater Seattle area please contact us at MomentumBlueSeattle@protonmail.com to see if you can pick up buttons or if you can reserve some from our next order. You could also opt to make your own button order. See #2 below.

2) If you aren't in the greater Seattle area your best option is to make your own button order. It gets pretty expensive and time consuming for us to mail the buttons. 

We use Pure Buttons. Here is the link to an order for 250 "IMMIGRANTS BELONG" buttons. 250 buttons cost $100 ($0.40/button). Shipping (to Seattle) is about $15 but we've had good luck getting free shipping just by asking them for it. You can also try entering FREESHIP if you see a coupon code field. For the last order we got a 15% discount for reordering but paid shipping, so it was a wash. Please let me know if you have any trouble.

I know 250 buttons sounds like a lot. But around here they go like hotcakes and we haven't found an end to the demand. So, while you can certainly order fewer buttons, if you have any energy for distribution it might work out to take advantage of the price point and go for the 250.

How do I donate for these buttons?

Donations are optional, but we really appreciate a donation of $1.00 per button. This allows us to keep making button orders and give some buttons away free. Our VenMo is @Mtb0001. If you pick the buttons up in person you can donate cash too.

We have a general intention to provide the buttons for free to individuals and groups that are working directly with immigrants as well as low income folks. So, if you can donate please do. If you can't or you are directly supporting immigrants or you are an immigrant, don't worry about it. We want you to have buttons.

What can I do with these buttons?

Aside from wearing them and passing them out, your group might use them for a fundraiser. Similar buttons sell online for $3.00 minimum. That's fine. We give our permission for any use of the buttons or design that supports our struggle against fascism and for democracy. Anyone who wants to sell these buttons or use the design for profit will need our express written consent.
