Circle of Grace- Safe Environment Training Program
The USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People requires that all children enrolled in Catholic Schools and Parish Schools of Religion receive Safe Environment training. The Diocese of Baton Rouge will provide such training for grades K-12 utilizing the program, Circle of Grace. The Circle of Grace lessons for MBS School Grades K-8th are scheduled for the week of November 8-12, 2021.

We have a 3rd grade prayer box. The prayer box is a box filled with religious articles. Students are allowed to keep the box at home for a certain amount of time. Students and parents are encouraged to use the articles in the box while in prayer. Please write the date and a brief description of what you and your family did with the prayer box. You are welcome to add small religious items to the box. I am not sending home the prayer box at this time.:(

Students will have several opportunities for grading through classwork, homework, projects, and tests. When preparing for a test, please review the chapter pages in the textbook. The online review may be used as another way to prepare for the test.

The test will consist of multiple choice, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and 1 short answer question. The short answer question must be written in a complete sentence. The answer should give the needed information to the question asked and make sense.

Students received a daily MBS prayer packet on August 13. It is due on August 31. Please practice these prayers at home. This packet includes Guardian Angel prayer, Hail Mary, Our Father, O Sacrament Most Holy, Recess Prayer and End of the School Day Afternoon Prayer. This prayer packet should be colored neatly and studied. It should remain in the orange folder of the portfolio. Prayer packets will be graded on neat coloring. It is worth 10 points.
