M-DIMENSION Evaluation Mechanism
This dimension of the Modified Muntinlupa S.M.A.R.T School with a HEART Program focuses on improving the school's managerial competence in areas such as MATATAG Agenda, good governance practices, quality management systems, school canteen operations, and performance management. Its goal is to guarantee that the school has the competencies and capabilities necessary to effectively manage its resources and operations, which can contribute to the achievement of the school's goals and targets. Improving management competency can lead to more efficient and effective resource usage, better decision-making, and better service delivery, all of which benefit learners, teachers, personnel, and other stakeholders at the school.
Managerial competence is a vital dimension of the program for it provides a framework for schools to improve their management practices and overall performance. It underlines the importance of schools using excellent governance practices and quality management systems in order to operate more effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, the program concentrates on school personnel performance management, which can improve the overall performance level of schools by providing support for professional growth. Improving managerial competence can result in better results for the organization, increased accountability, and increased stakeholder trust and satisfaction.
This dimension requires schools to have at least 2 initiatives per MATATAG Agenda (2 for MA, 2 for TA, 2 for TA, and 2 for G) as entry requirements. Schools will be gauged based on the number of MATATAG initiatives and the management skills of the school heads in implementing the said initiatives.
