Travel Basketball League

The MBA Travel program is an option for more experienced and skilled players who have a desire to play in a highly competitive basketball league. Our Travel teams play in the Inter-County Basketball Association (ICBA) league. Teams are formed by gender and grade, from 3rd to 8th grades. All interested players must register for tryouts, participate in at least one tryout session and be invited to join a Travel team.

MBA plans to host separate grade-level boys and girls Travel teams for kids in grades 3rd - 8th. Actual grade-level teams offered each season depends on player availability and qualification at each grade level, having a confirmed volunteer coach and team acceptance by the ICBA league. 

Travel team tryouts typically take place in mid-September with practices begin in mid-October and continuing throughout the end of the season. The regular season runs from mid-December through February, and playoffs conclude by mid-March. Each Travel player pays the MBA registration fee, an additional Travel program fee, and an additional uniform fee.
