About Me

I am a physicist, currently working at DAMTP in Cambridge at Goldstein's Lab. Before, I was a postdoc at Detlef Lohse's Physics of Fluids group at Max Planck - University of Twente Center for Complex Fluids. I did a Ph.D. in Complex Fluid Lab at the University of British Columbia with Neil Balmforth and Boris Stoeber. I mostly work on soft matter, interfaces, and biophysics.

During my time at UBC, I was awarded the NSERC Vanier Canada Scholarship, UBC's 4YF Fellowship, UBC's Mech Academic and Leadership awards, and Canada CFD award. In the Netherlands, I received the Young Scientist award at J.M. Burgerscentrum conference and the best presentation award of the European Society of Rheology. More recently, in Cambridge, I am awarded the Wellcome Trust Interdisciplinary Fellowship Biomaker Grant, Uni. Cambridge Public Engagement Starter Fund, and Women's Engineering Society (WES100) Grant .
