Q: How much does it cost to participate?

A: Nothing. Enjoy!

Q: When does the voting take place?

A: There are  many different schedules and routines in the classrooms that will be participating in Mayomanía so I've created a voting schedule that will allow some flexibility in how you want to use Mayomanía with your classes. You can spread out the votes to meet your needs. Just make sure you finish by the deadline for each round of the competition.

First round (Days #1-8): Monday, May 5 - Friday, May 16 @10PM EST.   

Second round (Days #9-12): Monday, May 19 - Friday, May 23@10PM EST

Third round (Days #13&14): Monday, May 26 - Wednesday, May 28@10PM EST

Final (Day #15): Thursday, May 29 - Friday, May 30 @10PM EST

Q: Should each individual student vote or should the teacher submit one vote on behalf of the class?

A: I would recommend that each individual vote for each day, but you are welcome to do it in whatever way works best for you and your classes.

Q: What age or ability level does this work best for?

A: Mayomanía is perfect for all ages and all levels of Spanish.  The commercials have all been thoroughly screened, however I encourage you to watch them all in advance of using them. 

Q: Why mayonnaise?

A: Just watch the commercials and you'll understand.

Q: Will this ever happen again? 

A: Probably not, but there are now two years of brackets and resources here and  I will leave this site up for all eternity in case you want to use it in the future with different students/classes.
