In this course, I engaged in a thoughtful exploration of the meaningful impact of Nursing Informatics. A key takeaway was the recognition of the essential role played by nursing informatics in the dynamic healthcare landscape of Canada. Given the nation's forward strides in technology, it has become imperative for nurses to enhance competence in its use, aligning with the diverse roles available in nursing informatics.

Besides using technology for administrative tasks, I learned that incorporating nursing informatics into research and education can improve the quality of patient care. As I learn more about nursing informatics, I see how it helps nurses become more comfortable with technology, which in turn helps advance patient care.
